A Look inside Cabot Cove of Largo Assisted Living & Integrated Memory Care Community

The Cabot Family

They’re creepy and they’re
kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re altogether ooky,
The Cabot Family.
Their house is a museum
When people come to see ’em
They really are a scream
The Cabot Family.[snap twice] (Neat)[snap twice] (Sweet)[snap twice] (Petite)
So get a witch’s shawl on
A broomstick you can crawl on
We’re gonna pay a call on
The Cabot Family.

A Healthier You!

Louise & Lynda on their daily walk. They love to walk three laps around the building after meals! Way to go Ladies!

Apart from your daily walks around Cabot Cove, and the exercise classes, did you know there are some great ways to become a healthier you? It is as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated can make a word of difference. It is recommended you drink 1oz of water for each pound you weigh.
  2. Eat a balanced meal. One of the best things about Cabot Cove is their meal options. They are delicious and nutritious! Just be sure to follow any dietary recommendations from your doctor.
  3. Stay Active! As we talked about before walks & exercise can do wonders for you. Get out for a walk a few times a day. Enjoy some fresh air in one of the beautiful courtyards. If you need assistance, Ask Debbie or other staff. They would be happy to join you for a lovely stroll!

Men’s Lunch Outing!

The men had a great time at our men’s lunch! We served up pizza and beer! The men chatted and ate pizza until they bust! Once a month we will be putting on this fun event. This month we will be having fried chicken with all the yummy sides!

Daylight Savings Time

With Fall upon us, a much wanted crisp breeze, and winter up north approaching it is almost time to set our clocks back an hour for Daylight Savings. 2023 Daylight Savings Time began March 12th at 2am and will end on November 5th at 2am. So be sure to set your watches back one hour on November 5th when you go to bed. Some clocks and watches, digital or analog can be a little tricky. If you need help setting the time, ask one of the Cabot Cove staff, they will be more than happy to assist you. Most cellphones, cable boxes, and atomic clocks should change automatically.
