A Look inside Cabot Cove of Largo Assisted Living & Integrated Memory Care Community

Hawaiian Luau with Pomai Nash

One of the most festive experiences here at Cabot Cove is the Hawaiian Luau! We were eager to learn traditional hula dancing from Pomai. She is so passionate about what she does and loves sharing her heritage with others! Our Covians had a blast at our Luau in January. Barbara got up and showed off her dancing skills! We feasted on appetizers prepared by Gabby, and a delicious pineapple rum punch! The ladies wore flowers in their hair and the traditional Hawaiian Lei, and skirts. We talked Raymond into wearing a Lei too! What a great way to warm up the winter months! Join us for our next big February bash Valentines with Elvis!

Encouraging, Loving, & One of a Kind!

Introducing our new resident – Rose T.

Rose was born and raised in New Jersey. When Rose was a young girl she loved to go fishing with her dad, who would sometimes take her to the Boardwalk in Atlantic City to fish off the dock. Rose is an only child. Her favorite thing to do was to play with her dog Tippy. Rose’s first job was at a Dairy Queen. She also worked as a hairdresser for several years. She married her sweetheart Clarence at age 17. They met at a popular swimming hole in New Jersey, where he saved her from a river undertow. For them it was love ever since. After vacationing in Florida, they fell in love with the area and decided to move to Seminole, Florida, where they lived their entire marriage. They’re favorite pastime was deep sea fishing. They would catch big fish and take home and share with the neighbors. Rose and Clarence did not have any children. They did have two horses; Gemini and Thunder, which they rode quite often. They also had a little shih tzu dog named Samson. Clarence was a building contractor in the Seminole area. Rose was his assistant and helped him with many of the contracting jobs. She loved working by her husband’s side. Rose loves living at Cabot Cove. She has made many friends already. Rose is a loving and encouraging person, who loves life, and reflecting on the memories of her husband and their life together.
