Bright Lights & Merry Nights!
Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed the fun & joyful festivities Cabot Cove hosted last month. It was such a delight to see all of our loved ones take part in our very merry Christmas Party! Thank you all for making the holidays so magical for all of us! Our Christmas Day dinner was superb as our amazing chef out did himself! One of our favorite traditions was a night of lights driving around and seeing the awesome show of lights!
Alice in Wonderland Tea Party!
Here at Cabot Cove, we love a good party! Add Tea & crumpets and what do you get? You may just end up down the rabbit hole! Family welcome to join our fun event! Family members please sign up at front desk if you wish to participate. This will be fancy & fun! The fun begins at 2:30 pm on Tuesday January 23rd!
Photographer & NASA Engineer: Ernie Graetz
Here at Cabot Cove we have many talented and gifted residents. This month we would like to share the talents of our resident Ernie Graetz! He has had an exceptional career, not only with his working career, but with his photography as well. He is a member of the Photography Arts Society and has given talks on how to photograph lightning safely. Ernie has an MBA & a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Ernie retired from Honeywell as a Staff Power Supply Engineer, and analog electronics for Space Shuttle and guidance systems. On January 15th @ 3:30 pm Cabot Cove will be having an art exhibit with some of Ernie’s photographs. We will also be serving champagne and finger foods. Everyone is welcome to attend!
It’s Not Just BINGO!
At Cabot Cove of Largo, our senior residents enjoy many different games! It’s not just BINGO around here! We love to play Card Bingo. We use playing cards and everyone puts a quarter ante in the prize pot. Whoever gets a Bingo wins the pot! We also enjoy Pokeno, Bags toss, Trivia, Sharp as a Tack, Letter game, Dominoes, and our newest game, Jeopardy! We encourage all residents, family, & friends to come and join in. Our activities are all listed in our monthly calendar. Activities are subject to change. The activity department encourages any new ideas or input! If any family members or friends would like to come and volunteer in any of our programs please contact Debbie. Family involvement is highly encouraged and appreciated! Come and join in on all the fun!
